The Arizona Planning Association is an official chapter of the American Planning Association. The American Planning Association, Arizona Chapter is a 1,000-plus member organization of professional planners and planning officials who serve Arizona’s communities in many ways, at all levels of government, the private sector and not-for-profit organizations.
APA Arizona members are also members of one of two geographically based sections:
- North Central Section
- Southern Section
Both North Central and Southern sections offer unique activities to network with other planners as well as educational functions.
The chapter is governed by an elected board of directors, a strategic plan adopted annually as well as its organizational bylaws.
Engage and support the planning profession by participating in the Chapter's Young Planners' Group, mentorship program, and by volunteering to serve on a committee or on the board of directors. If interested in any of these opportunities, please contact the Chapter office.
